Who We Are?

World trade organization institute Inc., the nation’s premiere export education and training program, has developed a corporate sponsorship program to help our partners reach U.S. exporters nationwide. World trade organization institute offers a common educational and training program with a broad reach and a solid track record.

World trade organization institute Inc. is a non-profit organization formed to provide high quality, predictable and affordable export education and training to American companies. World trade organization institute Inc. works closely with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the National District Export Council, Inc. to deliver educational and training programs through 60 District Export Councils in all 50 states. World trade organization institute programs are offered exclusively by District Export Councils and have the full backing of the U.S. Commercial Service.

Since its launch in 2006, World trade organization institute has become the leading national provider of export education and training programs. To date, World trade organization institute courses have been presented in 22 states with more than 4000 executives receiving certification. World trade organization institute works closely with the U.S. Commercial Service, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, to mentor, train and educate executives on export education.

Our Mission

The objective of World trade organization institute is to help American companies begin an export initiative and gain new skills and innovation in expanding their international sales. Courses are designed in three levels to provide new or experienced exporters with the tools they need to effectively organize their export operations:

  • World trade organization institute 101, for beginners.
  • World trade organization institute 201, for those already in business looking to refresh their knowledge.
  • World trade organization institute 301, for executives interested in expanding their understanding of international trade.
